We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in between sessions (authentication token) and to remember your cookie consent preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings, which will sign you out of your account. You can also decline cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Want and offer data is retained for 30 days after it expires or is deleted to allow for dispute resolution, then permanently removed. Anonymised aggregate usage data may be retained indefinitely.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@wantedposts.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing, JWT authentication with expiry, HTTPS-only connections, parameterised database queries, and rate limiting on all API endpoints. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
WantedPost is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. Please contact us at privacy@wantedposts.com if you believe we have done so.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (for example, social sharing links). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
WantedPost is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Platform you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this policy wherever it is processed.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
